BACKFLOW ANNUAL TESTING
If a backflow valve is defective or faulty, it may:
- not prevent a contaminated source entering the drinking water supply.
- cause water to be wasted through leaking devices.
- impact your property’s water pressure.
How to have your Backflow Prevention Device Tested
New York State requires that all backflow devices be tested annually by a Certified Backflow Tester.
Testing:
Our 5 Certified Backflow Device Testers will perform the annual test on your DCV or RPZ. We handle all filings and will remind you when it is time for the next test. After testing your device Ashokan will provide you with a tag on the device and provide you with a copy of the approved GEN 215B form. The original will be sent to your local authority to ensure customer compliance with DEP backflow prevention requirements.
Our fees:
For a limited time, Ashokan is offering: $200 for the 1st device and $175 for each additional device located on the same block and lot.
Repair:
Ashokan Staff is certified to repair and rebuild your backflow device. We stock most repair components.
We repair all makes and models.
